War… huh… Good God y’all. What is it good for, absolutely nothing.
Probably by now, you have been informed about the war launched by Hamas against the nation of Israel. Additionally, it is imperative to know that the many murdered Israeli civilians, including public executions of women and children, have been planned and orchestrated by people and governments who hate God. This is one of those situations going on in our broken world today that will get much, much worse before it gets any better. It has now become par for the cultural course to have endless wars raging all around us demanding that Americans pay for them while forcing us into vile contention over our opinions of who did what, why, and who’s side we take. Adding insult to injury, it has been clearly revealed that you and I, patriotic Christian taxpayers, are the bottomless pot of gold that the warmongers can dip their bloody ladle in at will.
The pieces of the puzzle seem to be forming a grotesque mosaic of elites and wicked leaders working overtime behind the scenes to propagate more death. The, “deep state,” is real, it is worldwide, and it cannot sleep until it sheds children’s blood and destroys innocent lives. The massive arsenal of weapons the Biden regime, “accidentally,” left behind in the miserably failed Afghanistan withdrawal just magically appeared in the hands of the Hamas terrorists walking house to house murdering guiltless families driven by the anti-Christ spirit of Islam and satanic bloodlust. Another coincidence involving $6 Billion (Billion, with a, “B,”) of earnings taken from our paychecks was openly funneled into the Iranian military-industrial complex which worked intimately with Hamas to launch this coordinated mega terrorism in Israel. In one report, there were pictures of civilian bodies being happily and triumphantly stacked by the terrorists in construction of a hideous idol to appease the gods they worship. These actions and images caused parades to break out all over America in leftist-controlled cities for celebration of the Palestinian successes of carnage creation where LGBTQ (alphabet army) and liberal marchers burned American flags while chanting Islamic and socialist mantras in solidarity.
Some folks hear these things, roll their eyes, turn up the Monday Night Football game, and go on about their super-cool lives filled with self-serving entertainment, glowing screens, and the pursuit of additional comfort.
I cannot. I will not.
Then if anyone hears the sound of the horn but fails to heed the warning, and the sword comes and takes him away, his blood will be on his own head. Since he heard the sound of the horn but failed to heed the warning, his blood will be on his own head. If he had heeded the warning, he would have saved his life. I am asked quite frequently, sometimes in sincerity and other times in a derogatory tone, why my ministry is fighting for The Great Awakening, especially in the governmental and political realms. I am often chastised to, “Just preach the Gospel… Stay in your lane, preacher… Why are you talking about these social things… You should just stick with the Bible…”
If you faint in the day of distress, how small is your strength!
Rescue those being led away to death, and restrain those stumbling toward the slaughter.
If you say, “Behold, we did not know about this,” does not He who weighs hearts consider it?
Does not the One who guards your life know?
Will He not repay a man according to his deeds?

I am fully aware that my public, defiant, and loud messaging for righteousness is unpopular and potentially limits my, “ministerial growth.” But, speaking up for the innocent, fighting for the lives of men, women, and children that Jesus died for takes precedence over all of the valid reasons to just shut up and go away into some progressive church-i-anity bubble. It should be obvious to all that it would be easy and convenient to just follow the masses of ministers waxing eloquent with their three points and a poem, gingerly jammed into their fifty-minute service targeting the forever, “seekers.” Being a modern-day John the Baptist standing in the river of society passionately calling for repentance is hard… really hard. But, heroes do hard things. I desire to be a hero for my Father.
The godly people in the land are my true heroes! I take pleasure in them!

It is about people. It should always be about people. That is the famous John 3:16 mandate of, “for God so loved the world.” God loves the Israeli people, the Palestinian people, the Ukrainian people, the Russian people, and ALL the other people. It is wicked and evil men in places of power directing governments to spill precious blood in these vile conflicts. It is our job, as a people who call Jesus Lord, to speak truth to power and, when necessary, remove their power to advance the death mantra of the devil. Authentic Christianity challenges culture with Kingdom truth. Jesus calls the enemy out by calling out his people.
Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to accept My message. You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies. But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me!

The people Jesus was offensively connecting to the enemy were religious people. They knew the Hebrew scrolls of the Torah like modernized Americans know their smartphone apps. They tithed off of even the tiniest produce in their gardens. They were in the synagogue multiple times a week. They were, “good,”… at least in their own opinion… compared to others. But, the real, raw aspects of living a life wholly submitted, conformed, and humbled before God were far from them.
Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.
Matthew 23:23 ESV
Justice.
Mercy.
Faithfulness.
Living the Gospel is living these things, sincerely. Knowing the scriptures well, being a generous giver to the Ekklesia, and serving in the gathering together of the saints are all GOOD things, important things, and necessary things. Jesus literally said to DO these things, “these things you ought to have done…” But having our hearts allegiantly committed to Justice, Mercy, and Faithfulness is of much higher priority.
Notice also that Jesus used the term, “law,” in His descriptions of these high virtues. He was connotating that there are laws that are higher than other laws, which is a radical reality. The Kingdom is well-ordered and well-administrated. (Chaos is easy, order is hard.) In the Kingdom, there are priorities and values that trump other good and righteous ones. When one looks across the burning villages set on fire of hell through war and moral corruption, it demands a priority change. It demands that we engage in the political cesspool, in the government tyranny, in the public education trying to groom our children, in the satanic media putting a trance on their lethargic victims, in the milquetoast and lukewarm churches providing false security and faux salvation for their participants, in the fake news propaganda factory churning out hopelessness, deceit, and fear, in our greed-driven economy ruled by narcissists and elites, and most importantly in our nuclear families that were intended by God to be the foundation of a healthy and Godly society.
David also said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and courageous, and do it. Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD God, my God, is with you. He will neither fail you nor forsake you before all the work for the service of the house of the LORD is finished…”

Of course, it will take strength and courage but you have those assets deeply rooted in your inner being. That great mystery is Christ in you, the hope of glory.
